Con la sua popolazione di 9 milioni di abitanti, destinata ad aumentare a 11 milioni entro il 2050, Londra rappresenta uno dei pi\u00f9 grandi centri economici e finanziari del mondo.<\/p>\n

Per garantire la crescita e lo sviluppo economico nei prossimi anni, il sindaco di Londra Sadiq Khan ha lanciato nel 2016 \"Smarter London Together\", una roadmap triennale per il periodo 2018-2021, con l'obiettivo di rendere Londra una citt\u00e0 \u201csmart\u201d: \"un posto migliore in cui vivere, lavorare e visitare\", guidando il progresso della citt\u00e0 attraverso l'innovazione, la condivisione dei dati e le infrastrutture intelligenti.<\/p>\n

La roadmap si sviluppa intorno a 5 obiettivi principali:<\/p>\n

  1. Fornire pi\u00f9 servizi user-friendly <\/li>\n
  2. Garantire una maggiore condivisione dei dati, sicurezza, governance ed etica a livello cittadino<\/li>\n
  3. Promuovere una connettivit\u00e0 di classe mondiale e strade pi\u00f9 \u201csmart\u201d<\/li>\n
  4. Migliorare le competenze digitali sviluppando il talento necessario per il futuro<\/li>\n
  5. Migliorare le connessioni in tutta la citt\u00e0<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n

    Nell'era dell'IoT e dell'AI, Londra si colloca come la capitale tecnologica d'Europa sia per dimensioni (vale circa 44 miliardi di dollari) che per livello di investimenti, fornendo grandi opportunit\u00e0 per le nuove tecnologie da impiegare nello sviluppo di infrastrutture sostenibili e nella facilitazione della condivisione dei dati.<\/p>\n

    La decisione di sfruttare la natura tecnologica della citt\u00e0 per guidare l'innovazione e garantire che le reti e i servizi tradizionali siano resi pi\u00f9 efficienti con l'uso di soluzioni digitali si \u00e8 rivelata vincente: Londra ha ora raggiunto una posizione internazionale come smart city e, secondo numerosi studi, \u00e8 collocata in maniera strategica a livello mondiale.<\/p>\n

    La rielezione del sindaco Sadiq Kahn nel 2021 ha allargato l'orizzonte per migliorare ulteriormente la tabella di marcia e ulteriori obiettivi sono previsti per i prossimi 3 anni.<\/p>\n

    Un grande focus sar\u00e0 sul Green New Deal, e sulla necessit\u00e0 di affrontare le attuali emergenze climatiche ed ecologiche. Londra \u00e8 attualmente leader nella smart mobility tra le citt\u00e0 europee, ma ha stabilito un piano ambizioso per diventare una delle citt\u00e0 pi\u00f9 verdi e smart del mondo: l'obiettivo \u00e8 di raggiungere l'80% degli spostamenti in citt\u00e0 in bicicletta, attraverso i mezzi pubblici e a piedi entro due decenni.<\/p>\n

    L'amministrazione di Sadiq Khan intende investire 10 milioni di sterline nel miglioramento delle infrastrutture, per facilitare gli spostamenti in citt\u00e0 a pedoni e ciclisti, e nella costruzione di nuovi edifici secondo il principio della sostenibilit\u00e0. Allo stesso tempo, per raggiungere l'obiettivo del cambiamento climatico, il traffico automobilistico di Londra deve essere ridotto del 27% entro il 2030. L'obiettivo \u00e8 quello di raddoppiare la dimensione dell'economia verde di Londra per accelerare la creazione di posti di lavoro, oltre a trasformare Londra in una citt\u00e0 a zero carbonio entro il 2030 e a zero rifiuti entro il 2050.<\/p>\n

    Le imprese e i cittadini continueranno quindi a beneficiare dell'ecosistema di innovazione di Londra, dove il progresso tecnologico e la sostenibilit\u00e0 sono impostate sia come driver che come obiettivi per il futuro.<\/p>\n
