L'annuncio arriva dopo che negli ultimi mesi il governo \u00e8 stato accusato di fare pressione sui lavoratori a basso salario e sui giovani adulti, che sono stati i pi\u00f9 colpiti dalla pandemia di Covid.<\/p>\n<p>Grazie all'aumento del salario minimo nazionale di 6,6%, un dipendente che lavora 35 ore a settimana guadagnerebbe 1.000 sterline in pi\u00f9 all'anno. L'aumento del salario minimo nazionale interesser\u00e0 anche i lavoratori di altre fasce d'et\u00e0:<\/p>\n<p>per coloro che hanno tra i 21 e i 22 anni, passer\u00e0 dalle attuali 8,36 sterline a 9,18 sterline all'ora, con un aumento del 9,8%; per i lavoratori tra i 18 e i 20 anni, da 6,56 sterline a 6,83 sterline; per i minori di 18 anni da 4,62 sterline a 4,81 sterline; mentre per coloro che lavorano attraverso l'apprendistato salir\u00e0 da 4,30 sterline a 4,82 sterline. Rishi Sunak ha commentato che l'aumento \"\u00e8 in linea con l'abolizione dei lavori a basso salario su cui il governo sta lavorando e che vorrebbe completare entro la fine della legislatura\".<\/p>\n<p>Il Cancelliere ha anche aggiunto che \"questo governo \u00e8 dalla parte dei lavoratori\" e che l'obiettivo \u00e8 garantire un salario minimo nazionale pari a due terzi del salario mediano ed estenderlo ai lavoratori di et\u00e0 superiore ai 21 anni entro il 2024.
