Il 22 luglio il Business Secretary, Kwasi Kwarteng, ha lanciato il programma \"Innovation Strategy\", volto a potenziare e incoraggiare le aziende britanniche a investire in ricerca, sviluppo e innovazione.<\/p>\n<p>\"Il Regno Unito non pu\u00f2 che essere orgoglioso del suo passato in termini di innovazioni, dalla rivoluzione industriale allo sviluppo del vaccino dello scorso anno\", ha dichiarato Kwasi Kwarteng, sottolineando come lo spirito di scoperta e innovazione non manchi nel capitale umano britannico, ma non sia sufficiente a far crescere la domanda di lavoro, motivo per cui l'attuazione di un programma che metta al primo posto gli investimenti nell'innovazione \u00e8 una priorit\u00e0.<\/p>\n<p>La \"Strategia per l'innovazione\" fa parte del pi\u00f9 ampio programma a lungo termine \"Piano per la crescita\", il cui obiettivo \u00e8 facilitare gli investimenti in ricerca e sviluppo per tutte le aziende del Regno Unito e creare le condizioni giuste per poterli realizzare. Il Regno Unito ha deciso di stanziare la cifra record di 22 miliardi di sterline per la R&amp;S, al fine di incoraggiare il settore privato a investire nell'innovazione.<\/p>\n<p>Il piano sar\u00e0 sviluppato in 4 aree: <\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Fornire alle imprese le risorse pubbliche necessarie per l'innovazione; <\/li>\n<li>Sviluppare gli strumenti per formare le persone; <\/li>\n<li>Formazione degli enti pubblici in materia di R&amp;S, in modo che possano fornire informazioni di supporto alle aziende che vogliono investire nell'innovazione; <\/li>\n<li>Stimolare l'innovazione tecnologica per acquisire un vantaggio strategico su scala globale.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>L'importante investimento in innovazione \u00e8 un passo decisivo che fornisce alle aziende non solo le risorse economiche per poterle rendere competitive a livello internazionale, ma anche per poter affrontare la difficile situazione pandemica attuale, disponendo dei giusti strumenti tecnologici e di innovazione.<\/p>\n<p>La pandemia di Covid-19 ci ha mostrato come le sfide pi\u00f9 importanti possano essere affrontate con successo attraverso l'impiego di grandi investimenti in scienza, innovazione e tecnologia, e ha dimostrato che gli innovatori britannici, se dotati del giusto supporto, libert\u00e0 e tolleranza al rischio, possono raggiungere risultati altrimenti irraggiungibili. Il settore R&amp;S, inteso come ricerca e sviluppo anche in termini di formazione del personale, ha subito un ridimensionamento negli ultimi anni, motivo per cui il governo ha deciso di rilanciarlo attraverso una \"missione per l'innovazione\", come indicato sul sito ufficiale www.gov.uk.<\/p>\n<p>La gestione sar\u00e0 affidata a un nuovo organismo, il \"National Science and Technology Council\" e supportata dall'organismo che si occupa di strategie scientifiche e tecnologiche, l'\"Office for Science and Technology Strategy\".
