Ma mentre si avvicina la scadenza, la Banca d'Inghilterra afferma che restano in circolazione 218 milioni di banconote da 10 sterline, per un valore di 2.182 milioni di sterline, pari a 27% del totale di quelle emesse.<\/p>\n<\/aside>\n<p>In Scozia, non solo la vecchia banconota da 10 sterline cartacea cesser\u00e0 di avere corso legale il 1\u00b0 marzo, ma anche quella da 5 sterline cartacee. Dovreste ancora poterle cambiare presso gli uffici postali o le banche locali, anche se non hanno l'obbligo legale di farlo.<\/p>\n<p>Avete sempre la possibilit\u00e0 di spedire le vecchie banconote alla Banca d'Inghilterra o di recarvi personalmente presso la sede di Threadneedle Street nella City di Londra, e la Banca cambier\u00e0 le vostre vecchie banconote con banconote nuove. La Banca si impegna a cambiare le vecchie banconote al valore nominale in qualsiasi momento.<\/p>\n<p>La Banca afferma che i rendimenti dei vecchi tenners si aggirano intorno agli 85 milioni di sterline a settimana. \"\u00c8 sostanzialmente in linea con le previsioni.
