Cette annonce intervient alors que le gouvernement a \u00e9t\u00e9 accus\u00e9 ces derniers mois de faire pression sur les travailleurs \u00e0 bas salaires et les jeunes adultes, qui ont \u00e9t\u00e9 les plus touch\u00e9s par la pand\u00e9mie de grippe aviaire.<\/p>\n<p>Gr\u00e2ce \u00e0 l'augmentation de 6,6% du salaire minimum national, un salari\u00e9 travaillant 35 heures par semaine gagnerait 1 000 livres sterling de plus par an. L'augmentation du salaire minimum national touchera \u00e9galement les travailleurs d'autres groupes d'\u00e2ge :<\/p>\n<p>pour les personnes \u00e2g\u00e9es de 21 \u00e0 22 ans, le salaire horaire passera de 8,36 \u00e0 9,18 livres, soit une augmentation de 9,81 points de pourcentage ; pour les travailleurs \u00e2g\u00e9s de 18 \u00e0 20 ans, il passera de 6,56 \u00e0 6,83 livres ; pour les moins de 18 ans, il passera de 4,62 \u00e0 4,81 livres ; et pour ceux qui travaillent dans le cadre d'un apprentissage, il passera de 4,30 \u00e0 4,82 livres. Rishi Sunak a d\u00e9clar\u00e9 que cette augmentation \"s'inscrit dans le cadre de l'abolition des emplois mal r\u00e9mun\u00e9r\u00e9s sur laquelle le gouvernement travaille et qu'il souhaite mener \u00e0 bien d'ici la fin de la l\u00e9gislature\".<\/p>\n<p>Le chancelier a \u00e9galement ajout\u00e9 que \"ce gouvernement est du c\u00f4t\u00e9 des travailleurs\" et que l'objectif est de garantir un salaire minimum national \u00e9gal aux deux tiers du salaire m\u00e9dian et de l'\u00e9tendre aux travailleurs de plus de 21 ans d'ici \u00e0 2024.
