Les Paradise Papers sont une \u00e9norme fuite de documents financiers qui jettent la lumi\u00e8re sur l'extr\u00e9mit\u00e9 sup\u00e9rieure du monde de la finance offshore.
\nUn certain nombre d'articles sont publi\u00e9s dans le cadre d'une semaine d'exposition sur la mani\u00e8re dont les hommes politiques, les multinationales, les c\u00e9l\u00e9brit\u00e9s et les particuliers fortun\u00e9s utilisent des structures complexes pour prot\u00e9ger leur argent d'une fiscalit\u00e9 plus lourde.
\nComme pour la fuite des Panama Papers de l'ann\u00e9e derni\u00e8re, les documents ont \u00e9t\u00e9 obtenus par le journal allemand S\u00fcddeutsche Zeitung, qui a fait appel au Consortium international des journalistes d'investigation (ICIJ) pour superviser l'enqu\u00eate. BBC Panorama et le Guardian font partie de la centaine de groupes de m\u00e9dias qui enqu\u00eatent sur les documents.
\nLe nom Paradise Papers a \u00e9t\u00e9 choisi en raison du profil idyllique de nombreuses juridictions offshore dont les rouages sont d\u00e9voil\u00e9s, notamment les Bermudes, si\u00e8ge de la principale soci\u00e9t\u00e9 impliqu\u00e9e, Appleby. Ce nom s'accorde \u00e9galement tr\u00e8s bien avec le terme fran\u00e7ais de paradis fiscal. L'\u00eele de Man joue \u00e9galement un r\u00f4le important...<\/p>\n
