{"id":4173,"date":"2018-06-25T00:00:00","date_gmt":"2018-06-24T23:00:00","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/well-tax.com\/?p=4173"},"modified":"2024-05-28T11:49:41","modified_gmt":"2024-05-28T10:49:41","slug":"actualizaciones-del-regimen-de-asentamiento-para-ciudadanos-de-la-ue-en-el-reino-unido","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/well-tax.com\/es\/settlement-scheme-updates-for-eu-citizens-in-the-uk\/","title":{"rendered":"Actualizaci\u00f3n del r\u00e9gimen de liquidaci\u00f3n para ciudadanos de la UE en el Reino Unido"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>Hay noticias del Gobierno brit\u00e1nico sobre el Brexit para los ciudadanos europeos residentes en el Reino Unido.<\/p>\n<p>El jueves 21 de junio <a href=\"https:\/\/www.gov.uk\/government\/publications\/eu-settlement-scheme-statement-of-intent\">en el sitio web del Gobierno<\/a> un documento con los detalles para obtener y garantizar a los ciudadanos de la UE residentes en el Reino Unido el derecho a permanecer en el pa\u00eds tras el Brexit.<\/p>\n<p>El coste de la operaci\u00f3n que hay que soportar es de 65 libras (74 euros), realmente marginal comparado con lo que se pensaba anteriormente.<\/p>\n<p>Todo esto parece estar en consonancia con lo dicho por Sajid Javid: \"Nuestra posici\u00f3n es conceder el estatus e intentaremos hacerlo lo antes posible. No pondremos excusas para tratar de hacer lo contrario, obviamente, mucho depender\u00e1 de la informaci\u00f3n proporcionada, debe haber una buena raz\u00f3n por la que no lo concederemos\".<\/p>\n<p>El ministro confirma su compromiso de proteger los derechos actuales de los ciudadanos de la UE tras su salida de la Uni\u00f3n.<\/p>\n<p>Los puntos importantes del documento publicado son:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Los ciudadanos europeos tendr\u00e1n que confirmar su identidad, la ausencia de cargos penales pendientes y que viven actualmente en el Reino Unido;<\/li>\n<li>El proceso de solicitud deber\u00eda abrirse en oto\u00f1o de 2018, aunque no se ha dado ninguna indicaci\u00f3n exacta sobre el calendario;<\/li>\n<li>Las solicitudes pueden hacerse en l\u00ednea o a trav\u00e9s de la aplicaci\u00f3n para Android y costar\u00e1n 65 libras (74 euros) para los adultos y 32 libras (37 euros) para los ni\u00f1os;<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>Los acuerdos alcanzados con Bruselas durante las negociaciones de los \u00faltimos meses han permitido simplificar el proceso para quienes ya se encuentran en Gran Breta\u00f1a, a diferencia del procedimiento actual para obtener el <a href=\"https:\/\/well-tax.com\/es\/proceso-de-residencia-permanente\/\">residencia permanente<\/a>que puede durar seis meses.<\/p>\n<p>La novedad es que:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>En unos d\u00edas recibir\u00e1 una respuesta afirmativa o negativa;<\/li>\n<li>Los ciudadanos de pa\u00edses de la Uni\u00f3n Europea que residan en Gran Breta\u00f1a podr\u00e1n obtener autorizaci\u00f3n para permanecer al otro lado del Canal de la Mancha incluso despu\u00e9s del Brexit realizando una prueba en l\u00ednea.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>No obstante, el procedimiento, que est\u00e1 previsto que comience en oto\u00f1o de 2018, deber\u00e1 concluir antes del 30 de junio de 2021.<\/p>\n<p><u>Estatuto de residente<\/u><\/p>\n<p>Antes de la transici\u00f3n al Brexit: Los residentes de la UE que hayan vivido en el pa\u00eds de forma continua y leg\u00edtima durante los \u00faltimos 5 a\u00f1os (a partir del 31 de diciembre de 2020, cuando expira la ventana de transici\u00f3n del Brexit) podr\u00e1n solicitar la residencia permanente en el territorio brit\u00e1nico.<\/p>\n<p>Transici\u00f3n post Brexit: Los residentes de la UE que lleguen antes de que finalice el periodo de transici\u00f3n, pero no cubran el periodo de cinco a\u00f1os exigido, podr\u00e1n solicitar la permanencia y cumplir los cinco a\u00f1os que exige la ley y realizar la solicitud m\u00e1s adelante.<\/p>\n<p>Se garantizar\u00e1n los mismos derechos de acceso a la sanidad, las pensiones y otras prestaciones por estatuto de residente o permiso temporal que se conceden a los ciudadanos europeos.<\/p>\n<p>Para los familiares de ciudadanos europeos residentes en Reino Unido, se reserva la posibilidad de solicitar la obtenci\u00f3n del estatus de residencia antes del 31 de diciembre de 2020, mientras que post-Brexit podr\u00e1n seguir haci\u00e9ndolo siempre que la relaci\u00f3n familiar est\u00e9 vigente antes del 31 de diciembre de 2020.<\/p>\n<p>Art\u00edculo de \"gov.uk\"<\/p>","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>There is news from the British government regarding Brexit for European citizens residing in the United Kingdom.
