A\u00fan no est\u00e1 claro cu\u00e1nto se ha ahorrado Akshata Murty, pero seg\u00fan fuentes autorizadas el estatuto de no domiciliada le ha permitido ahorrarse millones de libras en impuestos sobre ingresos obtenidos en el extranjero durante varios a\u00f1os.<\/p>\n<p>El estatuto de no domiciliado es legal pero controvertido, pero \u00bfen qu\u00e9 consiste concretamente? El estatuto de no domiciliado es un estatuto opcional para los residentes en el Reino Unido cuya residencia permanente -o \"domicilio\"- est\u00e1 en el extranjero.<\/p>\n<p>Este estatus permitir\u00eda a estas personas no tener que pagar impuestos por los ingresos generados en el extranjero. La web gubernamental \"Gov.uk\" define el domicilio de una persona como el pa\u00eds en el que su padre consideraba su residencia permanente cuando naci\u00f3. El estatus puede cambiar si la persona que se ha trasladado desde entonces al Reino Unido no tiene intenci\u00f3n de regresar. Si los ingresos en el extranjero son inferiores a 2.000 libras esterlinas en el ejercicio fiscal correspondiente y no se transfieren al Reino Unido, por ejemplo a una cuenta bancaria brit\u00e1nica, la persona con estatus de no domiciliada no tiene que pagar ning\u00fan impuesto por ellos en el Reino Unido.<\/p>\n<p>Con ingresos superiores a 2.000 libras al a\u00f1o, o si se introducen en el Reino Unido, existen dos opciones:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Pagar impuestos en el Reino Unido por ingresos procedentes del extranjero y solicitar la devoluci\u00f3n por haber tributado dos veces.
