Con su poblaci\u00f3n de 9 millones de habitantes, que aumentar\u00e1 a 11 millones en 2050, Londres representa uno de los mayores centros econ\u00f3micos y financieros del mundo.<\/p>\n

Para garantizar el crecimiento y el desarrollo econ\u00f3mico en los pr\u00f3ximos a\u00f1os, el alcalde de Londres, Sadiq Khan, lanz\u00f3 en 2016 \"Smarter London Together\", una hoja de ruta trienal para el periodo 2018-2021 con el objetivo de convertir Londres en una ciudad inteligente: \"un mejor lugar para vivir, trabajar y visitar para todos\", liderando el avance de la ciudad a trav\u00e9s de la innovaci\u00f3n, el intercambio de datos y las infraestructuras inteligentes.<\/p>\n

La hoja de ruta se desarrolla en torno a 5 objetivos principales:<\/p>\n

  1. Proporcionar m\u00e1s servicios dise\u00f1ados para el usuario <\/li>\n
  2. Garantizar un mejor intercambio de datos, seguridad, gobernanza y \u00e9tica a nivel de toda la ciudad<\/li>\n
  3. Promover una conectividad de clase mundial y calles m\u00e1s inteligentes<\/li>\n
  4. Potencial las competencias digitales desarrolando el talent necesario para el futuro<\/li>\n
  5. Mejorar la colaboraci\u00f3n en toda la ciudad<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n

    En la era del IoT y la IA, Londres se posiciona como la capital tecnol\u00f3gica de Europa tanto por su tama\u00f1o (con un valor de unos 44.000 millones de d\u00f3lares) como por el nivel de inversiones, lo que conlleva grandes oportunidades para el empleo de las nuevas tecnolog\u00edas en el desarrollo de infraestructuras sostenibles y la facilitaci\u00f3n del intercambio de datos.<\/p>\n

    La decisi\u00f3n de aprovechar el car\u00e1cter tecnol\u00f3gico de la ciudad para impulsar la innovaci\u00f3n y garantizar que las redes y servicios tradicionales sean m\u00e1s eficientes con el uso de soluciones digitales ha demostrado ser un \u00e9xito: Londres ha alcanzado una posici\u00f3n internacional como ciudad inteligente y ocupa un lugar muy destacado en el mundo seg\u00fan numerosos estudios independientes.<\/p>\n

    La reelecci\u00f3n del alcalde Sadiq Kahn en 2021 ha ampliado el horizonte para mejorar a\u00fan m\u00e1s la hoja de ruta y se han fijado m\u00e1s objetivos en los pr\u00f3ximos 3 a\u00f1os.<\/p>\n

    Un gran foco de atenci\u00f3n ser\u00e1 el Green New Deal, y la necesidad de hacer frente a las actuales emergencias clim\u00e1ticas y ecol\u00f3gicas. Londres es actualmente l\u00edder en movilidad \u201cSmart\u201d entre las ciudades europeas, pero se ha fijado un ambicioso plan para convertirse en una de las ciudades m\u00e1s ecol\u00f3gicas e inteligentes del mundo: el objetivo es conseguir que el 80% de los desplazamientos urbanos y de los trayectos a pie se realicen en bicicleta, en transporte p\u00fablico y a pie de aqu\u00ed a dos d\u00e9cadas.<\/p>\n

    El gobierno de Sadiq Khan tiene previsto invertir 10 millones de libras en la mejora de las infraestructuras, para facilitar los desplazamientos por la ciudad a peatones y ciclistas, y en la construcci\u00f3n de nuevos edificios de acuerdo con el principio de sostenibilidad. Al mismo tiempo, para cumplir el objetivo del cambio clim\u00e1tico, es necesario reducir el tr\u00e1fico de autom\u00f3viles en un 27% en Londres de aqu\u00ed a 2030. El objetivo es duplicar el tama\u00f1o de la econom\u00eda verde de Londres para acelerar la creaci\u00f3n de empleo, as\u00ed como transformar Londres en una ciudad sin emisiones de carbono ni contaminaci\u00f3n para 2030 y sin residuos para 2050.<\/p>\n
