El anuncio se produce despu\u00e9s de que en los \u00faltimos meses se acusara al Gobierno de presionar a los trabajadores con salarios m\u00e1s bajos y a los j\u00f3venes adultos, que han sido los m\u00e1s afectados durante la pandemia de Covid.<\/p>\n<p>Gracias al aumento de 6,6% del salario m\u00ednimo nacional, un empleado que trabaje 35 horas semanales ganar\u00e1 1.000 libras m\u00e1s al a\u00f1o. El aumento del salario m\u00ednimo nacional tambi\u00e9n afectar\u00e1 a los trabajadores de otros grupos de edad:<\/p>\n<p>para los que tengan entre 21 y 22 a\u00f1os, subir\u00e1 de las 8,36 libras actuales a 9,18 libras por hora, con un incremento del 9,8%; para los trabajadores de entre 18 y 20 a\u00f1os, de 6,56 libras a 6,83 libras; para los menores de 18 a\u00f1os, de 4,62 libras a 4,81 libras; mientras que para los que trabajen a trav\u00e9s de programas de aprendizaje subir\u00e1 de 4,30 libras a 4,82 libras. Rishi Sunak coment\u00f3 que el aumento \"va en la l\u00ednea de suprimir los empleos mal pagados en la que est\u00e1 trabajando el Gobierno y que le gustar\u00eda completar al final de la legislatura\".<\/p>\n<p>La Canciller tambi\u00e9n a\u00f1adi\u00f3 que \"este Gobierno est\u00e1 del lado de los trabajadores\" y que el objetivo es garantizar un salario m\u00ednimo nacional igual a dos tercios del salario medio y extenderlo a los trabajadores mayores de 21 a\u00f1os de aqu\u00ed a 2024.
