El Canciller Rishi Sunak present\u00f3 ayer el Plan de Apoyo al Empleo, que entrar\u00e1 en vigor el 1 de enero de 2010.st<\/sup> de noviembre, cuando finaliza el r\u00e9gimen de permisos.<\/p>\n

El Plan de Apoyo al Empleo tendr\u00e1 una duraci\u00f3n de seis meses, hasta finales de abril de 2021, y se revisar\u00e1 a los tres meses.<\/p>\n

Este nuevo r\u00e9gimen funcionar\u00e1 de forma muy distinta al anterior: completar\u00e1 los salarios de los empleados a los que sus empleadores no puedan volver a contratar a tiempo completo. Sin embargo, para poder acogerse a \u00e9l, los empleados tendr\u00e1n que trabajar al menos un tercio de sus horas normales.<\/p>\n

Por las horas no trabajadas, la administraci\u00f3n y el empresario pagar\u00e1n cada uno un tercio del salario restante. As\u00ed, suponiendo que un empleado trabaje 33% de las horas normales, el gobierno pagar\u00e1 un tercio de las 66% restantes (22%) y el empresario otro tercio (22%). Por lo tanto, los empleados cobrar\u00e1n al menos 77% de su salario, lo que equivale casi a los 80% ofrecidos en el r\u00e9gimen de excedencia.<\/p>\n

Sin embargo, con el r\u00e9gimen de excedencia el gobierno pagaba 80% de los salarios de hasta 2.500 \u00a3 al mes hasta agosto, 70% en septiembre y 60% en octubre (con los empleadores pagando respectivamente 10% y 20% en estos dos meses). Con el nuevo r\u00e9gimen, el Estado s\u00f3lo pagar\u00e1 un m\u00e1ximo de 22%, con un tope de 697,92 \u00a3 al mes.<\/p>\n

Adem\u00e1s, con el nuevo r\u00e9gimen, los empleados tendr\u00e1n que trabajar al menos un tercio de sus horas, en lugar de ninguna. Al cabo de tres meses, el gobierno podr\u00e1 aumentar el n\u00famero m\u00ednimo de horas trabajadas.<\/p>\n

Quienes trabajen en sectores actualmente cerrados, como los clubes nocturnos, no podr\u00e1n participar en el nuevo Plan de Apoyo al Empleo y podr\u00edan perder su puesto de trabajo.<\/p>\n

El Plan de Apoyo al Empleo est\u00e1 abierto a las peque\u00f1as y medianas empresas, pero tambi\u00e9n pueden optar a \u00e9l las grandes empresas, si pueden demostrar que han sufrido una reducci\u00f3n de ingresos.<\/p>\n

Por \u00faltimo, para poder optar a la ayuda, los trabajadores deben haber estado en n\u00f3mina en la empresa desde al menos el 23rd<\/sup> de septiembre.<\/p>\n

Otras medidas introducidas por el Gobierno para minimizar el desempleo son las siguientes:<\/p>\n

    \n
  1. 1.000 libras por cada empleado despedido que se mantenga hasta al menos finales de enero.<\/li>\n
  2. 1.500 libras por cada desempleado de entre 16 y 24 a\u00f1os que realice pr\u00e1cticas de \"alta calidad\" durante seis meses.<\/li>\n
  3. 2.000 libras por cada aprendiz menor de 25 a\u00f1os contratado hasta finales de enero, o 1.500 libras para los mayores de 25 a\u00f1os.<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n
