El Brexit ha desempe\u00f1ado el papel principal en este entorno econ\u00f3micamente deprimente, provocando incertidumbre e inestabilidad en el Reino Unido. Lo que suscit\u00f3 mayor inquietud fueron los acuerdos que deber\u00e1n adoptarse con la Uni\u00f3n Europea.<\/p>\n<p>La exclusiva BuzzFeedNews, que tuvo acceso a documentos confidenciales sobre el Brexit, pronostic\u00f3 el peor escenario posible, seg\u00fan el cual los resultados de una salida de Europa ser\u00e1n negativos y afectar\u00e1n a todos los sectores.<\/p>\n<p>El documento evaluaba los tres escenarios m\u00e1s plausibles sobre las futuras relaciones entre el Reino Unido y la UE. Con un acuerdo de libre comercio, como el evocado por May en su discurso en Florencia, el crecimiento brit\u00e1nico ser\u00eda 5% inferior en los pr\u00f3ximos 15 a\u00f1os respecto a las previsiones actuales. En caso de no llegar a un acuerdo sobre el Brexit, con el Reino Unido obligado a cumplir las normas de la Organizaci\u00f3n Mundial del Comercio, el crecimiento brit\u00e1nico ser\u00eda 8% inferior en el mismo periodo. Si el Reino Unido mantuviera el acceso al mercado interior de la UE, a largo plazo, el crecimiento seguir\u00eda siendo 2% inferior al de la plena pertenencia a la UE. Estos c\u00e1lculos no tienen en cuenta los costes a corto plazo derivados de la salida de la Uni\u00f3n Europea.<\/p>\n<p>A pesar de las previsiones anteriores, a pesar del Brexit y de cualquier adversidad econ\u00f3mica, Gran Breta\u00f1a sigue creciendo.<\/p>\n<p>Seg\u00fan el nuevo informe del Instituto Nacional de Investigaci\u00f3n Econ\u00f3mica y Social, el crecimiento del PIB en el Reino Unido ser\u00e1 superior al previsto, gracias a la recuperaci\u00f3n sincronizada de las econom\u00edas mundiales y a la debilidad de la libra.<\/p>\n<p>Como explic\u00f3 Jagjit Chadha, director de Niesr: \"Estos dos factores han contribuido a reequilibrar la econom\u00eda brit\u00e1nica, que ahora depende menos de la demanda interna, se ha orientado m\u00e1s hacia el comercio y seguir\u00e1 haci\u00e9ndolo en los pr\u00f3ximos dos a\u00f1os. La contribuci\u00f3n que la recuperaci\u00f3n mundial ha aportado a Gran Breta\u00f1a ha sido decisiva. De hecho, la falta de consumo debida a la incertidumbre vinculada al Brexit y la disminuci\u00f3n de la renta disponible se han visto m\u00e1s que compensadas por el relanzamiento del comercio\".<\/p>\n<p>\u00a0\"Justo cuando decidimos cambiar de rumbo con el Brexit, el resto del mundo nos ech\u00f3 una mano -dice Chadha-. El crecimiento de la econom\u00eda brit\u00e1nica el a\u00f1o pasado y este a\u00f1o se ha visto respaldado por un crecimiento mundial mayor de lo esperado -en 2018 alcanzar\u00e1 probablemente el 4%-\".<\/p>\n<p>El NIESR predice ahora que el PIB brit\u00e1nico crecer\u00e1 casi 2% en 2018 y 2019. Sin la recuperaci\u00f3n de la econom\u00eda mundial m\u00e1s all\u00e1 de las previsiones, el crecimiento brit\u00e1nico el a\u00f1o pasado habr\u00eda sido de 1,2% en lugar de 1,8%.
