Resolver los errores cometidos cuando entren en vigor las nuevas normas para congelar o cerrar las cuentas bancarias de los inmigrantes ilegales podr\u00eda ser una \"aut\u00e9ntica pesadilla\", ha advertido un antiguo consejero del TSB.
\nA partir de enero, los bancos y las sociedades de cr\u00e9dito inmobiliario comprobar\u00e1n si los titulares de las cuentas est\u00e1n legalmente en el Reino Unido. Los parlamentarios respaldaron la medida en 2016, pero Philip Augar dijo que se cometer\u00edan errores y que los \"pobres individuos\" sufrir\u00edan las consecuencias. El Ministerio del Interior dijo que el sistema era \"justo\" pero \"firme\".
\nLas entidades financieras recibir\u00e1n una lista de la organizaci\u00f3n antifraude Cifas sobre personas susceptibles de ser expulsadas o deportadas del Reino Unido o que se hayan fugado del control de inmigraci\u00f3n.
\nLas organizaciones tendr\u00e1n entonces que informar de los nombres que descubran y congelar o cerrar las cuentas. Seg\u00fan The Guardian, 70 millones de cuentas se revisar\u00e1n trimestralmente para comprobar el estatus migratorio de sus titulares....<\/p>\n
